Student Representatives Needed for Naperville City Boards and Commissions

Deadline for Emails of Interest is Monday, September 25

NAPERVILLE, Ill. –  Mayor Steve Chirico and the Naperville City Council would like to extend an invitation to Naperville high school students to fill student positions on several City boards and commissions.

Interested students should submit an email to trotze@naperville.il.us with their name, home address, high school, year in school, their interests and the board/commission on which they would like to serve. Preference is given to high school seniors; however, all high school students may apply. Those students who served on a board or commission in previous years will need to reapply.

The deadline for submitting emails of interest is Monday, September 25, 2017. Students should anticipate actively participating on the board or commission; therefore, consideration should be given to the time commitment required.

Please note that the Liquor Commission, pension boards and Board of Fire and Police Commissioners do not utilize student representatives. Students in need of more information should contact the Mayor’s Office at (630) 420-6018 or by emailing trotze@naperville.il.us.
