District Dinner – save the date

The Indian Prairie Annual District Dinner is moving a couple months earlier and being held on Sunday, March 6th from 5-8pm.   The event will be held at the Stonebridge Country Club which is the same location as last year.  The program will be similar with some additional recognition and awards too.

The Silver Acorn nomination form is available at IPD 2016 Silver Acorn Nomination Form and District Award nomination instructions will be coming from Ken Hogan soon. Award nominations will be due February 19. For further information or to get involved in planning this event, please contact Wendy Gross @ Wendy.Gross at

2015 Gathering of Eagles Banquet

The recognition dinner for the Scouts who received their Eagle in 2015 will be held on February 19, 2016.  2015 Eagles should receive their invitations in late December.  Registration is required and will be available on the web site beginning mid-December.  Adults wishing to sponsor an Eagle may also sign up on the web site.

Reminder: We’re looking for an outstanding Eagle Scout to represent the Class of 2015 at the TFC Eagle Recognition Dinner being held on February 19, 2015.  Only one Scout will be chosen to deliver a speech on behalf of all 2015 Eagle Scouts.  This Scout must have had his Eagle Board of Review in the year 2015 to qualify for this honor.  The Scout who is chosen will receive a $500.00 scholarship.  Auditions will be held January 9, 2016.  For more information see the audition form for 2015 Eagles.
