Troop Sponsorship and Pack Interaction Program

From Uda Potgieter, District Membership Chair:

We have been taking note of the expressed need for Cub Scout Packs to interact more with the Boy Scout Troops. It needs to happen long before the Webelos have to crossover and Recruitment season starts.  Cub Scouts and Pack parents need to see Boy Scouts in action and experience the benefits long before they have to make a decision to join Boy Scouts.  Participate with your Troop or Pack to have Boy Scouts help with Flag ceremonies, Boy Scouts to help out with scout skills, Cub Scout Den leaders to use Den Chiefs, Boy Scout Parent and Cub Scout Parent discussions, and campouts where there are more fun and learning together.  These are a few examples of the upcoming interactions that can help our Packs and Troops grow in our district.  There will be a roster on the website shortly where you can sign up.
